GLENDALE-The Armenian National Committee of American - Western Region
applauds the hard fought victory of its endorsed candidates who won
in the June 5 presidential primary. The ANCA-WR is pleased to report
that 100 percent of its endorsed U.S. Congressional candidates won
in their new districts. Overall, seventeen of its nineteen endorsed
candidates won in the primary election.

The ANCA-WR extends its congratulations to the endorsed candidates for
California State Assembly. After a long and arduous election process,
Adrin Nazarian was victorious in the newly created 46th Assembly
District primary race. Running in the 41st Assembly District,
Chris Holden, and running for reelection, Katcho Achadjian, in a
redistricted 35th Assembly District, gained the majority of the vote
in their respective districts. Greg Krikorian, who ran in the 43rd
Assembly District, will move forward to the general election as will
Tom Calderon of the 58th Assembly District.

The ANCA-WR looks forward to seeing these candidates achieve victory
in the general election in November.

The Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region is the
largest and most influential Armenian American grassroots advocacy
organization in the Western United States. Working in coordination
with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters throughout the
Western United States and affiliated organizations around the country,
the ANCA-WR advances the concerns of the Armenian American community
on a broad range of issues.
