Former Chief of the General Staff of Turkey, Ilker Basbug, who is
in prison on charges of heading a terrorist organization, finished
his book entitled Mustafa Kemal [Ataturk]: Greatest Leader of the
20th Century.
The book presents the events that occurred between 1881, when Ataturk
was born, and 1923, when the Rep. of Turkey was declared, Hurriyet
daily of Turkey informs.
The book also includes information with reference to Ataturk's views
on the Kurdish issue and the meetings with the Young Turks who were
arrested in connection with the Armenian massacres.
