In the Know question:
Where can I find the best Armenian restaurant in London?
Answer:
There are only a handful of Armenian restaurants in London. The most
lauded in the capital is Erebuni, situated within the London Guards
Hotel in Lancaster Gate. The food here is Russian-Armenian (there's a
flash of Ukrainian and Georgian fare, too) but the multi-influenced
menu works a treat.
If you're keen to try the restaurant's Armenian delicacies on their
own, let the waiter know and they'll be more than happy to accommodate
your needs.
Karmir Bibar (parsley-marinated red peppers), Tapaka (spiced, lemon
juice-coated and garlic-topped chicken) and Dolma-Echmiadzin (minced
lamb meat-stuffed vine leaves) are all typical Armenian dishes that
are worth ordering here.
