EU TO PROVIDE MEDICAL AID FOR ARMENIAN IMMIGRANTS

YEREVAN. - World Vision Armenia announces about the new project
financed by the EU. The aim of the project is to unite all state
organizations and NGOs and to provide medical insurance, preventive
consultations and support for immigrant workers.
The project will kick off on Tuesday in Yerevan. The project is
meant for the South Caucasus region. It will be conducted in Armenia,
Georgia, Azerbaijan as well as in Russia. In Armenia the main targets
are Gegharkunik and Lori regions where migration rates are highest.
The EU allocated ~@ 1,217,951 for the project against AIDS prevention
in the South Caucasus region and Russia. In Armenia the program will
be implemented with the support of 'Real world, real people' NGO.
