Prosperous Armenia is in the coalition with its body and soul, but we
need time yet to see who it actually is - for having broken away from
the coalition without proclaiming itself as opposition, that party
has become something inconceivable, the deputy leader of the Free
Democrats party Anush Sedrakyan said during a joint press-conference
with member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, MP Vardan
Ayvazyan on Monday.
She said that the coalition between the RPA and Orinats Yerkir is
not equal as OY plays a secondary role in it.
"It is easy to say that you no longer have anything to do with the
government, it is much harder to give up the economic benefits your
post gives you. But the problem is that in Armenia business cannot
prosper without the government's patronage," Sedrakyan said.
Ayvazyan retorted that the rich men in the government have earned
their money honestly. "In the opposition you also have successful
businessmen," the Republican said.
