Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova - APA. "We are attentively watching the
developments between Azerbaijan and Armenia and very concerned about
the last incidents", Rainer Lindner, the Executive Director of the
Committee on eastern European Economic Relations, said.

"We are watching the developments. We would like the two countries
to develop intensively and dynamically, because both countries
participate in the Eastern Partnership. We hope that the OSCE Minsk
Group, which has been addressing this problem for almost 20 years,
will contribute to the elimination of the political tensions."

Lindner said the stability was a priority for the investment. "We want
to see the stability in the region. The conflict is not good for the
investment and economic development. On the other hand, I see a large
potential for the development of German business in Azerbaijan. We
intend to boost economy in the regional countries. The solution of
the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is important for us."
