Bank of Armenia issues new silver coin
YEREVAN June 14
The Bank of Armenia has issued a memorial silver coin devoted to film
director Sergei Paradzhanov (1924-1990), the bank's press service said
on Thursday.
The coin is rectangular-shaped and has a nominal value of 100 Armenian
drams. It's made of silver 925 sample and has a size of 28 by 40 mm.
The coin weighs 28.28 grams. It was minted at the Polish Mint with a
circulation of up to 5,500 copies.
The coin was designed by Polish designer Ursula Valezak.
