AZERBAIJAN ATTEMPTS TO OVERCOME OWN COMPLEXES - EXPERT

YEREVAN. - Azerbaijan attempts to overcome own complexes, this time
due to 'newly elaborated wheeled combat machine,' expert Artsrun
Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to APA, scientific-research center of the Azerbaijani MOD
produces the wheeled combat machine. As the source confirms, the newly
elaborated machine will exceed Georgian Didgori and Armenian Hayk.
Azerbaijani MOD currently produces mine-resisting transporters similar
to Matador and Marauder.
"If those Matador and Marauder were indeed such successful projects,
where is the sense to produce a new machine? In general, wheeled
machines are not intended for carrying out serious tasks," the expert
stated adding it would have been just another topic in case Azerbaijan
attempted to produce tanks or fighter planes.
