Baku. Victoria Dementieva - APA. "The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs
decided to intensify their mediation efforts on the basis of the
Paris meeting.
They will visit the region in the near future for this purpose",
spokesman for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman
Abdullayev told APA commenting the Paris meeting of the Azerbaijani and
Armenian foreign ministers. He said that the position of Azerbaijan
remains constant: "The current status quo is unacceptable for the
region and world community. The withdrawal of Armenian armed forces
from the occupied Azerbaijani territories will create condition for
the peaceful settlement of the conflict."
