Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Toily Komekov was invited
to the ministry of foreign affairs, where Deputy Minister Khalaf
    Kahalafov received him.

Tert.am informs citing Azerbaijani sources it was stated during the
meeting that according to the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and
Turkmenistan in 2008 the two countries cannot carry out intelligence
or mining activity in the crossing point of the territories of the
two courtiers unless an agreement has been reached on the division of
the sea-bed. Turkmenistan's attempts to start seismic work in Kyapaz
mine on the crossing point means a violation of the agreement.

On this occasion, Azerbaijan expressed a serious complaint to
Turkmenistan stating Turkmenistan's illegal activity is inadmissible
and Azerbaijan has the right to take corresponding measures in order
to protect its right in the Caspian Sea.
