ARMENIA PLANS TO SECURE 5-7 PERCENT GROWTH IN GDP

YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS: Republic of Armenia compared with
developed countries is planning to secure progressive rates of
economic growth during coming five years recording 5-7 percent
growth in Domestic Gross Profit. Armenpress reports that on June
18 during the out of turn session of the Government about this
declared Tigran Sargsyan. Presenting the 2012-2017 program of the
Government the Prime Minister mentioned that it would be based on three
priorities - increasing the competitiveness of economy, development
of human resource, development of institutional abilities. The Prime
Minister stressed the importance of formation of tax, customs and
competitiveness protection systems which will make that Armenian
legislation will be implemented equally and unconditionally for
all economic subjects. It is planned by the program to develop the
regions of Armenia equally, to secure quality education, health care
and cultural services.
