ARMENIAN HEALTH MINISTER PLEDGES TO BOOST AVAILABILITY OF MEDICAL SERVICES

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 18, Armenia's newly-appointed Health Minister
voiced intention to boost availability and quality of medical services
for all the citizens.
"No doctor and no citizen must deal with financial issues. Moreover,
the citizens must be confident of the availability of the medical
care," Derenik Dumanyan said, pledging to take maximum efforts to
reach the goals set.
Minister Dumanyan further noted development of the practice of
voluntary medical insurance and introduction of mandatory health
insurance in the years to come among the ministry's priorities.
