YEREVAN. - The Israeli Tavor guns are good arms, Russian expert Ruslan
Pukhov told Armenian News-NEWS.am. According to him, the Russian made
Kalashnikovs are rather old models.
"Tavor rifles are modern arms. However, it must be understood that
buying Israeli arms will not guarantee decisive advantage to Azerbaijan
in a confrontation with Armenia. Guns do not fight, people fight,
and people are better in Armenia. The warrior spirit is not less
important and the operation of Shushi already has made history.
Here the complex of factors is important," the expert said.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Azerbaijan intends to
replace Kalashnikovs with Israeli made Tavors.
