Golos Armenii presents an analytical article by former Russian
Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Vladimir Kazimirov. The former
Russian envoy, touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, in
particular, recent incidents at the line of contact between Armenian
and Azerbaijani armed forces, says that the Azerbaijani side is to
blame for escalating frontline tension. According to him, Azerbaijan,
having lost the Karabakh war, hindering the negotiation process, has
adopted the policy of aggravating the situation in the conflict zone.
"From this viewpoint there is no doubt that escalating tensions in
Karabakh are good for Azerbaijan," Kazimirov writes.
