CITIZENS MUST FEEL THAT THEY LIVE IN A PROTECTED, SAFE AND SECURE COUNTRY: PRIME MINISTER OF ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JUNE 20, ARMENPRESS: The focus point of the government program
in the spheres of defense, maintenance of the public order, security
and justice will be increase of the level of protection of every
member of society, said Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan
while presenting the government program at the National Assembly,
Armenpress reports.
"Our citizens must feel that they live in a protected, safe and secure
country," noted the head of the government.
According to him, the respect of society for the institute of
compulsory military service will be strengthened by means of continuous
improvement of social and educational conditions in the army.
"The demobilized soldiers will be ensured with jobs and privileged
opportunities of education. The government will essentially toughen
the responsibility for violation of human rights by law enforcement
bodies," said Tigran Sargsyan.
He stressed that stricter requirements will be defined for professional
training and moral description of judges and prosecutors.
