IN JAN-MAY 2012 YEREVAN-TBILISI-YEREVAN TRAIN CARRIED 7,900 PASSENGERS

In Jan-May 2012 the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan train carried 7,900
passengers - 1.3% more than in Jan-May 2011. In May 2012 the train
carried 7.1% more than in May 2011.
The press service of South Caucasus Railway reports that a total
of 189,000 passengers were carried by the company in Jan-May 2012
(44,500 in May alone).
South Caucasus Railway is gradually improving the quality of its
trains and enlarging the range of its services.
South Caucasus Railway is 100% subsidiary of Russian Railways. On
Feb 13 2008 it was given 30-year concession to Armenian Railway.
