"BIG TOP" GROUP: UNION OF CIRCUS WORKERS PLANNED

As reported by News.am, a Union of Circus Workers is to be formed in
Armenia, inviting artists, performers and "intellectual elite" to join.
Sos Petrosyan, Artistic Director of the Yerevan Circus will serve as
president of the union, whose aim is to encourage the development of
circus art.
The union's formation coincides with the renovation of Yerevan's
circus building, a landmark of the capital since its opening in 1962,
which has not undergone changes since it opened. The new structure
is to be ready for performances in 2013.
