The National Assembly will vote today on the government program.
Yesterday Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan presented it to the
consideration of the parliament. The government's action plan is
backed by the coalition forces - the Republican Party of Armenia and
Orinats Yerkir.
The three opposition parties and Prosperous Armenia Party have already
declared they will vote against the program. The latter did not avail
itself of the opportunity provided by the ruled of procedure of the
National Assembly to declare about its political status.
As for the government's program, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan says
it is rather ambitious and pursues the aim of ensuring gross changes.
The executive expects a 7% economic growth as a result of
implementation of the program. The priorities of the program include:
competitive economy, development of institutional capacities and the
human capital.
