Head of Syunik region awarded Tsvetana Paskaleva

KAPAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS: Bulgarian famous writer, director, member
of international Documentary association Tsvetana Paskaleva
represented the documentary film `Wounds of Artsakh' to the audience
of Kapan on June 22. At the presentation of the film was present the
author of the film with her son David. In the municipality of Kapan
she met with mayor of the city and the staff of the municipality. `At
the difficult years of the war, since 1992 I have been in Kapan many
times. Last time I visited three years ago as a tourist and have
already noticed that the city has changed a lot' said Paskaleva. Then
she told her memories about Artsakh war, creating her films. `At
present I organize the presentation of my film all over the world. We
have been in Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, and Lebanon. We have already
organized presentations in Yerevan, Gyumri, Artsakh and now in your
city' she said adding that they had visited Syunik on invitation of
the head of the region Surik Khachatryan.
Armenpress reports that after the presentation Bulgarian famous
writer, director, member of international Documentary association
Tsvetana Paskaleva was awarded with the medal after Aksel Bakounch.
The medal gave Deputy Head of Syunik region Vache Grigoryan. On behalf
of people of Kapan mayor of Kapan Arthur Atayan expressed gratefulness
to Paskaleva: `I would like your next film to be about internationally
recognized Artsakh'. Thanking for warm reception Paskaleva mentioned:
`This is a little contribution that I give to Armenian nation for what
Nzhdeh and Andranik have done for my nation. I don't have biological
ties with Armenians, I am Bulgarian but my heart is Armenian'.
