Geneva still hopes that the Armenian-Turkish protocols will be
ratified and implemented by both countries, Swiss Ambassador to
Armenia Konstantin Obolensky said in an interview with Regnum agency.
"We are hopeful that the protocols signed by the two countries will
be ratified and implemented by both parties, as we are confident that
they can serve as an important basis for normalization of relations
between Armenia and Turkey," the Ambassador said, refraining from
further comments on the issue.
"We don't comment on the decisions of the two countries, taking into
consideration the fact that we assumed the role of a mediator between
Armenia and Turkey. Therefore, we have to be unbiased," he concluded.
