    Yerevan/Vienna - During his visit to Armenia - the first by an Austrian
    head of state - President Heinz Fischer has urged a peaceful solution
    to the conflict over the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. Speaking to
    journalists in Yerevan on Tuesday [ 26 June], Fischer and Armenian
    President Serzh Sargsyan stressed the commitment to non-violence and
    a common system of values.

    Fischer said that he now knows the points of view of Azerbaijan,
    Turkey, and Armenia on the Karabakh problem. The issue must be looked
    at from all sides. However, a solution can be achieved only be peaceful
    means and negotiations, he stated. Sargsyan said the peoples' right
    to self-determination and territorial integrity are the bases for
