community, assessed its needs and evaluated the potential challenges.

Armenian Cause-Hai Tahd-the expanding of resources for effective
outreach to the community in order to expand the capabilities for
achieving the national aspirations of the Armenian people, as well
as prioritizing the youth as the future of the Armenian nation.
Turkey's continued denial of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the
issue of just reparations to the Armenian people were part of the
core agenda of the Convention.
The Convention also expressed its concern with the current realities
facing the Homeland. Special attention was paid to the plight of
Armenia's population, which faces grave socio-economic challenges;
the insurmountable obstacles our people living in Javakhk have to
confront on a daily basis and the heroic people of Artsakh, whose
determination and will serve as a lesson to our entire nation.
The 48th Western US Regional Convention also expressed its determined
support to the men and women of Armenia's and Artsakh's border regions
who, on daily basis, withstand the continued Azeri aggression against
our borders. The Convention also highly commended and voiced its
solidarity with the brave soldiers who unwaveringly defend our border
against enemy aggression and bowed to the memory of the soldiers who
lost their lives in recent weeks in the defense of our homeland.
