PanARMENIAN.Net - Information disseminated by Azerbaijani media on
the alleged visit of Milli Majlis members and journalists to Nagorno
Karabakh on the initiative of Parliamentary Union of Journalists
through support of "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh"
Public Union isn't true to fact, according to the head of the Central
Information Department at NKR President's Office.
As David Babayan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, this is merely
subsequent provocative information by the Azerbaijani media.
"We don't mind visits of representatives of different countries,
including Azerbaijan to Nagorno Karabakh. However, a special agreement
with the country's authorities and a visa receipt are necessary for
that," he said.
Dwelling on the activity of "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh"
Public Union, Mr. Babayan noted that it is an obscure organization
used by Azerbaijani authorities for political purposes.
"This organization cannot resolve issues related to visiting Artsakh,"
he said.
