ARMENIA TO PARTICIPATE IN ITB 2012 TOURISM EXHIBITION

YEREVAN, MARCH 6, ARMENPRESS. Armenia's National Competitiveness
Foundation is going to present Armenia at the ITB 2012 international
tourism exhibition in Germany from March 7-11 together with local 16
tourism companies.
An official from the Foundation told Armenpress that this year
representatives of more than 180 countries will participate in the
exhibition and 170 thousand visitors are expected to attend it.
Within the framework of the event director of the Foundation Arman
Khachatryan will meet with Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of UN World
Tourism Organization and participate in the UNWTO ministerial meeting
aimed at development of "Big Silk Road" tourism route.
Armenia's participation is being organized by the Armenian embassy to
Germany and Union of Tourist Agents of Germany (DVR) in collaboration
with Foundation.
