Translation Laboratory to open in Yerevan State Linguistic University

YEREVAN, MARCH 7, ARMENPRESS. Translation Laboratory will open in
Yerevan State Linguistic University on March 13.
The establishment of the YSLU Translation Lab is supported by Eurasia
Partnership Foundation (EPF) Europe program, which aims to contribute
to the effective implementation of Eastern Partnership in Armenia, and
Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) within the
frames of "Translation Lab as a Catalyst for Modernization and Reform
at YSLU" project.
The Laboratory aims at boosting the higher education reform at YSLU
via building capacities for the innovative educational cycle based on
"IT-Translation" concept.
The Lab will serve as a powerful impetus to a wide range of
transformations across disciplines, as a crucial part of the
modernization strategy of the university. It will support the academic
mobility of students and educators, internationalize higher education,
enhance the quality of education, impact the employability of
graduates, and contribute to modernizing the Armenian language social
discourse in many vital professional areas.
The guests of the opening ceremony are representatives of different
international and national organizations, professionals, professors
and students.
