Observers from NKR to monitor Abkhazia's parliamentary elections

Parliamentary elections are being held in Abkhazia. All the 174
polling stations are open. United Abkhazia, Communist Party,
Abkhazia's democratic united forum, Abkhazia's economic development
party are fighting for seats in the Parliament. Among 148 candidates
there are only eight female candidates.
One chamber legislative body is formed in majoritarian electoral
system. The elections are recognized if 25% of voters have cast their
ballots.
40 observers from Russia, Latvia, Venezuela, Italy, France,
Nagorno-Karabakh and other countries will monitor the elections,
