10th British Film Festival kicks of in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 10, Moscow cinema in Yerevan hosted the
launch of 10th British Film Festival. The latter is organized by the
British Council Armenia office and Embassy of Great Britain in
Armenia.
During the opening ceremony of the festival, the head of British
Council Armenia office Arevik Saribekyan noted that the films are
dedicated to the Olympic Games 2012, 200th birth anniversary of
English writer Charles Dickens and main problems of interrelations
between an individual and society.
The festival will feature an exhibition of paintings by English artist
Reece Whitehead. British film-maker Michael Whyte, a special guest,
will present the story of shooting the film titled `No Greater Love'.
He will also conduct a master class in Yerevan State Institute of
Theatre and Cinematography.
>From March 1-11, The festival documentaries will be screened in
cinemas of Armenian cities of Vanadzor, Berd and Gyumri.
