YEREVAN. - The president of the Armenian Football Federation (AFF),
ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Ruben Hayrapetyan still
has not decided on running for a seat in next parliament, despite the
party had decided he should run for it.
`I have not decided yet. Once I make up my mind, I will hold a press
conference. I still hesitate,' Hayrapetyan told the journalists.
Asked what hampers to run for an MP, AFF president said he has tight
schedule. If he manages to arrange everything at the AFF, he would
have time to run for parliament.
In response to the remark of the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent
that media outlets speak on his running in the same election district
together with the off-parliament opposition Armenian National Congress
(ANC) member, businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan, Hayrapetyan said they
do not correspond to reality.
In the meantime, another big businessman Samvel Alexanyan will run for
the next parliament.
