YEREVAN. - Zhoghovurd daily writes that its sources have given fairly
interesting details on Armenian businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan. And
according to them, Hambardzumyan was collecting and exporting copper
and aluminum in the 1990s.
"She herself had coordinated the metal receiving centers that had
emerged in the entire country, and as a result she was at the center
of attention of law enforcement in those years. But she resolved her
matters very quickly and continued to flourish the business. Ms.
Hambardzumyan gave a negative response to Zhoghovurd's question as
to whether she had had problems with the law enforcement, and she
denied this information," Zhoghovurd writes.
