ARMENIAN RULING PARTY'S PROGRAM 'A BIG FAT ZERO'

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is well aware it is program is
"a big fat zero," Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, a member of the the Social
Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP), which forms part of the opposition
Armenian National Congress (ANC), told journalists on Friday.
He mentiuoned a number of points from the ruling party's previous
election program, particularly the ones envisaging opportunities for
each citizen to purchase a falt and a car.
"Education and knowledge will be the resources in the greatest demand
for each Armenian family," Yeghiazaryan said, quoting from the RPA
program. According to him, it is a gross violation of international
as national minorities reside in Armenia as well. He demands that
Armenia's ruling party apologize to the national minorities.
In response, Karine Ajemyan of the RPA said: "If we had implemented
all our programs, we would have an ideal country. We have overcome
all the difficulties."
