INTEREST RATES IN FINANCIAL MARKET DROP IN ARMENIA - CENTRAL BANK

YEREVAN. - Interest rates in Armenian financial market dropped in
Armenia in February. This is stated in Armenian Central Bank's March
report on refinancing. In the primary market, the average interest
rate of government bonds with a maturity of 1 year was 8.9 per cent.
In comparison with the previous month the average interest exchange
rate of interbank credits decreased by 3.2 percentage points totaling
to 7.7 per cent.
To note, the credit market interest rates rose to a certain extent
concerning dram loans as well as loans on U.S. dollars.
