    March 20, 2012

Chicago, Ill. (A.W.)-On March 24, Khatchig Mouradian will deliver an
illustrated lecture on Dikranagerd/Diyarbakir in Glenview, Ill.

A local kid poses for a photograph at the entrance of the Toukh Manoug
Sourp Khatch church (currently a mosque) in Sati Koy near Diyarbakir.

(Photo by Khatchig Mouradian) From 2010-2011, Mouradian made four trips

the occasion of the reconstruction of the Sourp Giragos Church. In

political and cultural landscape of the region, and shares with the
audience a trove of photographs from his trips.

The lecture, titled "The Last of the Armenians: Impressions from
Dikranagerd and the surrounding Villages," is organized by the ARF
    Chicago Christapor gomideh.

Mouradian is the editor of the Armenian Weekly, a PhD candidate in
Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University, and the program
coordinator of the Armenian Genocide Program at Rutgers University.

The lecture will be held at the Armenian All Saints Church and
Community Center (1701 N. Greenwood Road, Glenview, Ill.) at 7:30 p.m.

It is free and open to the public.
