The paper says it has learned from sources that President Serzh
Sargsyan, who was recently in Moscow on a working visit, did not have
any official or non-official meeting with Russia's president-elect,
Vladimir Putin.
On behalf of Putin and the incumbent president, Dmitry Medvedev,
Sargsyan took part in a dinner ceremony held in honor of the state
leaders attending the EurAsEc Interstate Council's session, says
the paper.
Putin reportedly had meetings with the presidents of Kazakhstan,
Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, but did not meet the Armenian leader. Instead,
he had a long a tete-a-tete with second President Robert Kocharyan
on March 15, the paper says, adding that the discussion content is
being kept secret.
