According to the declaration published by ARF-D, in the coming five
years the party's policy will be based on 4 main priorities-social,
economic policy, democracy and national problems.
Poverty reduction by ten times, formation of a medium class, which in
its turn will ensure a well-off life, are planned in the social sphere.
It is stated in the declaration: "The size of the minimal subsistence
budget will be considered the poverty threshold, the right of each
citizen to have an income not lower than that threshold will be
ensured. Decent pension will be given to the pensioners, adequate
remuneration will be defined for all workers (by present indicators
the average pension will be 63 000 AMD (it is now 31.255 AMD), the
minimum hourly wages will be no less than 400 AMD (it is now 196
AMD)), GDP will be doubled, the state budget will be triplicated,
about 200 000 new jobs will be opened, each person, who is able to
work, will get a job".
There is a promise in the declaration to make quality health
care accessible for everyone, to provide social dwellings to needy
families, deduct tariffs on gas, electricity, irrigation, and potable
water. Economy is the second priority with a perspective to make it
stable, developing, and competitive.
ARF-D promises to exclude violation of the property right, to formulate
a free competitive economic environment about which it is spoken for
numerous times at the government level remaining as a not realized
promise.
A monetary and budget policy directed to diversification of economy,
economic growth and strengthening local production will by run. The
air ticket prices will be reduced which will promote tourism and will
create affordable conditions for free movement of people.
By granting agricultural state assistance subsidies, grants and
privileges it will be attempted to ensure the country's food security
and to turn the speeches on the proportional development of the regions
into real actions. The third priority is building a national-democratic
state, for which constitutional change is planned.
In the foreign front, ARF-D tries to construct its activity having
the notion of good-friendly and mutually beneficial relations with
all states without yielding and risking all-national achievements.
Naturally, the Karabkh issue and Armenian-Turkish relations are
included: the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be settled without
withdrawing from the will of the Artsakh people already expressed
through the pan-national referendum and Armenia's signature will be
withdrawn from the Armenian-Turkish protocols. All-national goals
and the perspective to re-establish the historical justice will not
be sacrificed to the establishment of Armenian-Turkish relations.
They also plan to do certain work to improve the social conditions
of the families of freedom fighters and military servants. The other
parties which have expressed a wish to participate in the election
will also publish their programmes in the coming days. And it's up
to the electors to analyse, trust in and evaluate the chances for
their realization.
