PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of information and analytical International
ArmInfoCenter Armen Ter-Sargsyan issued a letter to President Serzh
Sargysan and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, calling their
attention to a series of anti-Armenian and anti-Christian "Louys
Ashkhar" U.S.-based shows.
As Ter-Sargsyan noted, recent shows featured provoking discussions
on a book of Armenian Church History.
"The host, Stepan Kiremidjian, along with show participants, criticized
the book, drawn up and published by Holy Etchmiadzin and Armenian
Ministry of Education," the statement said.
Ter-Sargsyan further accused Kiremidjian of cynically distorting
the meaning and goals of the Holy Book, describing it as promoting
anti-human, immoral, and Jewish Zionist principles.
"We urge the Holy See and Education Ministry to take drastic steps
in order to curb destabilizing and provoking influence of the show,"
the statement stressed.
