ARMENIA MARKS 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF MEMBERSHIP TO UN

YEREVAN. - A reception dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia's
membership to the UN was held at the MFA on Friday.
In his speech Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan mentioned that on March 2,
1992 Armenia joined the UN.
As the FM pointed out, by joining the UN Armenia's independence and
the newborn Armenian Republic was internationally recognized.
During the ceremony the UN Representative in Armenia Dafina Gercheva
also came up with a speech.
