FIRST STAGE OF COMPENSATIONS OF SOVIET BANK SAVINGS IN ARMENIA TO END IN 2014

YEREVAN. - Over 47,000 Armenian citizens have already received
compensation for their lost contributions in Soviet ruble made before
1991 to Bank of Savings in the Soviet Union, deputy Minister of Labor
and Social Affairs Artiom Asatryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The
first stage of compensations includes 62,000 families and will end in
2014. On average, 1,000-1,100 people receive compensations per month.
To note, the State budget-2012 has allocated $4.15 million for
compensations.
