Addressing the Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul, President Serzh
Sargsyan stated it would be appropriate to focus on energy, as well
as nuclear energy security-related issues as a whole.

According to president's press office, RA President has signified
struggle against turning energy resources into malicious political
    capital.

Its consequences, as President Sargsyan has stated, are burdensome
especially for those countries that lack natural energy resources
and have to seek for ways of energy independence.

"Two of the four direct neighbors of Armenia, violating norms of
the international law, keep our country in a blockade for almost two
decades and among many other problems leave no alternative even in
    energy independence," Serzh Sargsyan said.

Concluding his remarks President Sargsyan has re-confirmed Armenia's
commitment to struggle against illegal circulation of nuclear
materials, as well as our country's determination to support
international efforts in fight against terrorism.
