PROCLAMATION OF YEREVAN WORLD CAPITAL OF EDUCATION GREAT ACHIEVEMENT FOR ARMENIA

YEREVAN, MARCH 28, ARMENPRESS: The circumstance of recognizing Yerevan
a world capital of education is a glory and great achievement for
Armenian people, Education and Science Minister of Armenia Armen
Ashotyan said during a press conference on facebook, Armenpress
reports.
According to him, in the last 2 years nobody could even have dreamt
that Armenia would deserve such an honor. "The decision adopted by
the ministers of the Bologna process will give to our country one
more opportunity to be recognized," said Armen Ashotyan.
Armenia is going to be the coordinator of the reforms in the sphere
of higher education of Europe in the upcoming 3 years and so, the
entire experience of higher education will be accumulated in Armenia.
The Minister noted a contest will be announced in near future for
adopting a final decision who will work in the secretariat of the
Bologna process.
