PRIVILEGED LOANS TO BE ALLOCATED TO ARMENIA'S FARMERS

ARZAKAN, MARCH 29, ARMENPRESS. About 7.5 billion AMD loan will be
allocated to the rural economies of Armenia. The interest rate
will be subsidized by the government, Prime Minister of Armenia
Tigran Sargsyan said at the outgoing cabinet sitting today. "With low
interest rate the loans are becoming available for farmers. Last year
the Armenian government allocated 14 billion AMD which contributed
to the development of agriculture," Tigran Sargsyan said.
He said last year the banks satisfied 90% of applications. "It is
important that budget"s subsidizing means serve their main purpose,"
the premier said.
