ARMENIA'S MP SAYS MINSK GROUP FAILS TO REGISTER SUCCESS BECAUSE OF UNCONSTRUCTIVE POSITION OF AZERBAIJAN

YEREVAN, MARCH 29, ARMENPRESS. The OSCE Minsk Group has not registered
big success in the Karabakh conflict settlement issue but it had huge
significance in the preservation of peace, MP from the Republican
Party of Armenia Hamlet Harutyunyan told a news conference.
"The Minsk Group fails to register progress because of unconstructive
activity of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Without doubt the Minsk Group left
a positive impact during these years," Hamlet Harutyunyan said, adding
that war is not beneficial for either of the conflicting parties as
the armament level of Armenia and Azerbaijan will cause huge damages
to the parties leaving irreversible consequences. He said both parties
have become much more battle-worthy as compared with the 90s and it
will result in disastrous war. "It is not desirable both for us and
Azerbaijan," Hamlet Harutyunyan said.
