TER-PETROSYAN: IN PARLIAMENT THE ANC WILL GAIN RESIGNATION OF ARMENIAN PRESIDENT AND WILL BRING HIM TO CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY

Given that Serzh Sargsyan occupied the presidential seat by means of
rough violation of the Election Code, the Armenian National Congress
(ANC) intends to gain a weighty presence in the new parliament, to
raise the issue of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's resignation
and to bring him to criminal responsibility, the ANC Leader, the
first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan said at a rally in
    Yerevan on Friday.

Ter-Petrosyan thinks that it is necessary to introduce radical changes
in the Election Code, which will relieve the lists of the voters of
the names of 500 thsd citizens, who permanently reside abroad.

The ANC is also going to revise the Law "On the legal regime of the
state of emergency" by cancelling the anti-constitutional provision
on participation of the army in the political processes. Ter-Petrosyan
said that the Law "On assemblies" will also be amended. The ambiguous
formulations will be removed from the law, he said.

The ANC is going to take urgent measures to develop industry, to grant
tax concessions to companies creating new jobs and to give domestic
producers as many rights as importers have.

In order to eliminate monopolies the ANC suggests that a company
should control no more than 33.33% of the market.

The ANC also suggests that the national security service, the police
and the state income committee should be reorganized into ministries.

The state machine should be curtailed, with the saved money to be
given to education, science and culture.

"This is not all we are going to do in the parliament," Ter-Petrosyan
    said.
