Russian company to supply 16 helicopters to Azerbaijan

Russian Rosvertol Company is planning to complete delivery of Mi-35M
helicopters to Azerbaijan this year. APA reports quoting the Russian
newspapers that production and test of helicopters ordered by
Azerbaijan is conducted by the company's plant in Rostov-Don. The
helicopters will be delivered to Azerbaijan as soon as the tests
finish.
Russplanes reports that Rosvetrol pilots started the test of
helicopters on April 26.
Delivery of helicopters started last December. 8 of 24 helicopters,
which delivery is considered by the deal, already arrived in
Azerbaijan and delivery of 16 others will be realized phase-by-phase.
Mi-35M is an export night attack version of Mi-24, is fitted with
upgraded advanced avionics and sensor package, including night vision
systems, IRTV -445MGH thermal vision system, GPS115L GARMIN satellite
navigation system.
