RA Ministry of Defense urges to refrain from disseminating misinformation

`Refereeing to their own sources, some media and social networks
disseminate misinformation on exchange of fire at different parts of
the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, cases of ceasefire violation, victims
as a result of shooting in the direction of Armenian positions and
settlements,' the Armenian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The Ministry advises to verify the authenticity of such information at
the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry y of
Defense, not to disseminate unchecked information to avoid aggravating
the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact.
`The Armenian Armed Forces keep control of the situation all along the
line of contact. The Ministry of Defense declares once again that the
Armenian side is strongly committed to the maintenance of the
ceasefire regime and takes measures equivalent to the situation only
in case of ceasefire violations by the adversary,' the statement
reads.
