NKR GOVERNMENT APPROVES 62 MLN-DRAM PROGRAM ON MINERAL RESOURCES EXPLORATION AND UTILIZATION

STEPANAKERT, April 28. /ARKA/. The government of Nagorno-Karabakh
republic approved on its regular session yesterday the 62-million-dram
program on exploring and utilizing mineral resources in the country
in 2012, NKR government's press service reports ARKA.
The program will be implemented by Geological expedition of Artsakh
NGO.
In particular, the program's goals are to launch search for precious
metals and ore minerals in Taghavard and Zardanashen zones of Martuni
region in NKR, and Mets Tagher zone of Gadrut region.
The source also says that ore zone of Kovsakan will be explored,
and geological fund's data will be detailed.
