ARKA AGENCY DIRECTOR KONSTANTIN PETROSOV RECEIVES GOLD MEDAL OF ARMENIA'S INDUSTRIALISTS AND ENTREPRENEURS UNION FOR ACTIVE CONTRIBUTION TO BUSINESS MEDIA FORMATION

YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs
of Armenia awarded the Union's gold medal to ARKA News Agency Director
Konstantin Petrosov for his active role in fostering formation of
high-quality business media in Armenia as well as congratulated him
on the 16th anniversary of the agency.
"Over the years of its activity ARKA agency displayed itself as
a reliable and trustworthy partner. One should not only trust its
information but also orient upon it while making decisions," the
Union president Arsen Kazaryan said.
He also added that Armenian business community cannot imagine the
market of business information without materials published by ARKA.
And this is due to its director's persistence and innovative skills.
"Over these 16 years our Union had a chance to witness the
establishment and development dynamics of ARKA agency and its endeavor
to become the main business source for the business community at the
national media market," Kazaryan stated.
Founded on May 1, 1996, ARKA News Agency provides financial, economic
and political information.
Today ARKA media holding includes telecommunications and high-tech
portal teleั~Aom.arka.am as well as financial and banking portal
armbanks.am.
ARKA News Agency was declared the Best Economic Agency of Armenia
as of 2000 by the Central Bank of Armenia. In the years of 2002 and
2003, Business Initiative Directions organization awarded ARKA News
Agency with International Star Award for Quality in Gold category. In
2011 ARKA was nominated by Europe Business Assembly (EBA) for the
International award "Best Enterprises" for the dynamics of the
company's growth in its branch over 15 years of its operation in
Armenia.
In 2011 ARKA Agency Director Konstantin Petrosov was awarded the
Medal of Prime Minister by Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan
in connection with the 15th anniversary of the agency and for the
active role in covering economic issues of the country.
