6 ARMENIAN POLITICAL PARTIES RELEASE STATEMENT

YEREVAN. - Six of Armenia's political forces that will run in Sunday's
National Assembly elections have issued a statement and noted they
will record on camera the voting process in the precincts.
"We, the representatives from the Prosperous Armenia [Party], Armenian
Revolutionary Federation [ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party], Democratic
[Party] of Armenia, Communist [Party] of Armenia, Republican [Party]
of Armenia, [and] Orinats Yerkir [Rule of Law] Party, have decided to
manifest a common will, to combine our capacity, and to carry out with
joint efforts the video recording of the voting process and tallying
of results in as many election precincts of Armenia as possible,
[but] without violating voting secrecy.
Upon request, the video recording by the proxy of each participating
party will be provided to the other participating party.
The other parties running with the proportional system in the
National Assembly elections can join this statement," the latter
reads in particular.
