Armenia posts highest industrial growth among CIS states in Q1
MOSCOW. May 4
Armenia posted the highest industrial growth among CIS states in Q1
2012 with 16.4%, the CIS Interstate Statistics Committee said.
Industrial output grew 14.6% year-on-year in Tajikistan and 8.3% in Belarus.
It rose 4% in Russia, 2.9% in Kazakhstan and 0.9% in Ukraine, but fell
0.3%.i Azerbaijan and 27.7% in Kyrgyzstan. The committee did not give
figures for Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Moldova.
Inflation was highest in billion at 0.5%, followed by Armenia with
2.7%, Russia - 1.5%, Kazakhstan - 1.1%, Moldova - 1.0%, Kyrgyzstan -
0.9%, Ukraine - 0.7% and Azerbaijan - 0.5%.
