PROTEST ACTION HELD OUTSIDE IRANIAN EMBASSY IN AZERBAIJAN

    Azerbaijan

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh - APA. A group of young people held a protest
action outside the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan.

APA reports that protesters chanted slogans as "Azerbaijan!", "Long
live Azerbaijan, shame on you Iran!", "Iran, don't support Armenians".

Representative of the Caucasus Muslim Office for western regions Haji
Tahir Garabaghi said that such attitude of Iran against Azerbaijan
    is contradictory with Islam.

The resolution was read at the end of the protest action. Preconceived
position of Iran against Azerbaijan, Iran's friendly relations with
Armenia and cultural genocide against 30 million Azerbaijanis in Iran
were noted in the resolution: "Iranian government doesn't want to
see Azerbaijan's achievements. Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
has never spoken about the genocide, which was perpetrated against
Azerbaijanis in Karabakh, but during his visit to Armenia he laid a
wreath at the made-up Armenian genocide monument. Azerbaijani young
people will not allow Iran's provocations in our country."
