YEREVAN. - The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is one of the most complicated
among so-called frozen ones, head of the European Liberal Democrat and
Reform party (ELDR) Graham Watson said at a Friday press conference
in Yerevan.
According to him, the term 'frozen' is not the best way of describing
the situation as otherwise there will be no fatal incidents due to
shooting. At the same time, the conflict is frozen as it is difficult
to see any way forward.
Watson also added that he shares approaches of the EU, which encourages
settling the conflict through diplomacy. He stressed that an armed
conflict is never settled on who is right or wrong principle.
"The armed conflict is settled by the one who survives," he added.
